I’m feeling kind of creepy about this year. Some of these points are observations with concerns, and some of these points are more like … predictions?
We’ll be adding Ecuadoreans to the Venezuelan and Colombian refugees seeking safety and asylum. Congress absolutely needs to drop their linen and get busy with new laws, but they won’t act.
The current El Nino in the Pacific has a 54% chance of being historically strong. The weather is going to disappoint, feeding into the western water crisis, then wildfires this summer (or sooner).
Trump won’t win the election in November. He hasn’t won one yet, and he’s the worst loser ever. I’ll be glad when the only people listening to him are literally a captive audience. IF by some chance he gets elected, I’ll predict he doesn’t live long enough to be inaugurated. I don’t do politics on this page, but I’m ready for this crap to flush.
I don’t see an end to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. I wish that were not the case. Perhaps when enough young Russian men don’t come home the people will finally do something? My sense is that opposition is rising, but it’s hard to know what’s going on over there.
I think we’ve had some diplomatic success with China – I’m not worried right now that China will do something foolish toward Taiwan or Hong Kong. China is developing economic problems of its own and aggression isn’t going to pay.
I’m nerved. When Hamas attacked Israel, about 1,300 Israelis were killed and 230+ were taken as hostages. This was a revolt against Israeli policies. I find it horridly confusing that the people who were the subject of their own holocaust 80 years ago in Europe are now conducting what seems to be a genocide in Gaza. In a certain sense, therefore, the once slaves have become the new masters? As of today something like 23,000 Palestinians have died in Gaza in the last hand full of weeks. Does Israel think that 1 Israeli life is worth 23 Palestinian lives? Or evidently more, because Bibi wants to stay there a few more months, obliterating all infrastructure in Gaza. The video I just saw on TV showed part of Gaza that was deep valleys and hills of sand amid the rubble with heavy equipment tearing it up in the background. Too many innocents are dead. Both sides are in the wrong. Both sides need a more conciliatory tone in leadership, or they’ll just keep killing each other. If the war is unpopular enough in Israel I would think a new election would be called, but I don’t know how Israeli elections work. Plus this conflict could easily spread to the Houthis in Yemen, and the Hezbollah factions scattered around, and perhaps ultimately the Iranians and/or Syrians.
Finally, I think we’ll see more disclosure of UFO / UAP phenomena this year and perhaps 2025. I have my reasons for stating this, and I’m putting it here as a marker. Hopefully I’ll not have to say “I told you so” but here tis. And no, I can’t prove it. There’s no objective source material. This is intuitive based on the tea leaves, moon beams, and a little tarot. Non-Human Intelligence exists, and I think it’s been here for many long dusty eons of earth’s development. I’ve been all the way down this rabbit hole for awhile now, and I gotta say that if the government is now telling us something is going on, we should probably start paying attention. Yeah?
