We have over 100 years of “proof” and still people complain about not enough proof, and offer misinformation, guesses stated as fact, or character assassination. Enough already. NHI is here - now what do we do about it?

I’m encouraging disclosure to happen, and I applaud those coming forward. But I don’t think constantly arguing the facts is going to get us anywhere as a species. We have to start thinking about what comes after disclosure, the changes that must be made to infrastructure, society, governance, the economy and politics. We have to do better as people.

We’re coming to a point where we can re-introduce ourselves as a species to the rest of the Milky Way and beyond, but we need to mature as a species, and get organized as a planet. The United Nations won’t figure it out. The superpowers (current, rising and falling) won’t figure it out. The corporations won’t figure it out, unless it’s going to be profitable for them. The Billionaire elite don’t care.

Neither Homo Sapiens nor Earth have anything to organize around. We don’t have a world-wide capital, a bank account, or a common language. The United Nations has 193 different sets of law from each member nation. Even the UN is probably tired of 193 different sets of law, so why would advanced civilizations want to deal with this hot mess? I don’t see where political appointees or cousins of Prime Ministers in the UN are going to have the best answers. Individual nations or alliances will try to skew things in their favor instead of a democratic world-wide body politic.

We’re a fractured, tribal species with nuclear weapons, and we kill things we don’t understand or don’t like (spiders, snakes, in-laws…), so I don’t blame our visitors if they are extremely wary of us.

New technologies are going to wreak havoc on our economy, and we need to think of ways to mitigate those issues, if we can.

Originally, I put my thoughts into a book, but a book isn’t going to be agile enough to keep up with current events and evolving thoughts about our place in the cosmos. I’ve taken the store down, and I’m not selling anything.
